As part of its founding mission to educate the citizens of tomorrow, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) has long provided extensive financial aid and payment facilities to most of its students. USEK is also painfully aware of the urgent need to support education in Lebanon under the worst economic and financial crisis in the country’s history.
Yet, as the crisis in Lebanon endures, USEK is slowly losing its backbone – the highly qualified faculty and administrators – to brain drain, skyrocketing living expenses, and infrastructure maintenance priorities.
